Careful Coffee Bean Selection
At Mokable, we rely on the expertise of Q Arabica Graders—certified coffee specialists—to evaluate and select the highest-quality beans from coffee harvests around the world.
Each year, we choose beans based on their flavour profiles, ensuring that our signature "Roasted" and "Fruity" Mokable flavors maintain their unique character.
Since coffee is a seasonal crop, the origins of the beans we use may change annually.
This flexibility allows us to prioritize not just exceptional taste but also sustainability, supporting responsible sourcing practices that align with our values.

Roasting & Blending
The rich aroma that defines great coffee begins with the roasting process.
Roasting is a complex chemical reaction, and factors such as the method (direct fire, hot air), heat profile (high heat for a short time, low heat for a longer time),
and roast level (light or dark) all play a critical role in shaping the flavor and aroma of the beans.
At Mokable, we select the optimal roasting method for each type of bean, ensuring it brings out its best characteristics.
By blending beans roasted using different techniques, we create a deep, layered, and sophisticated flavor experience that sets us apart.

Micro-Powdering
Our roasted coffee beans undergo an advanced micro-powdering process, farfiner than what’s used for traditional brewed coffee.
This allows the finely ground coffee to be seamlessly incorporated into the base, creating Mokable’s signature aromatic flavour and smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
While chocolate-coated coffee beans already exist, their use in confections has been limited—until now.
Our innovative micro-powdering technology is the key to Mokable’s groundbreaking versatility as a new ingredient for sweets and beyond.

Mixing & Shaping
Our micro-powdered coffee beans are carefully blended with cocoa butter and plant-based oils in a precisely balanced ratio, using our patented process (Patent No. 7068149).
This innovative formulation allows CAFEXLATE to be handled just like traditional chocolate, making it incredibly versatile.
